On the first Saturday of every month, we team up with Second Baptist Church and Desoto Dream Center to host a Block Party for a neighborhood in Hernando. These block parties are designed to build relationships with the local community while also raising awareness about the resources available to them through Desoto Dream Center and churches like Second Baptist. We can’t wait to see the impact this initiative will have! We would love to have you help us throw this party! Getwell Studies

Getwell Studies are short-term, topic-based gatherings designed to help us grow in our faith and build community. Each session includes a brief teaching and small group discussion, providing a space to study Scripture and pursue Jesus together.
This semester, we’ll be exploring the Holy Spirit. Sessions meet for one hour on select Sunday nights throughout August. (The dates for this semester’s meetings are listed above.)
Are you curious to learn more about Getwell? We’d love for you to join us for a casual and welcoming meeting where we’ll talk about who we are as a church, what we believe, and the many ways you can get connected to our ministries and community. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, meet others, and explore how you can get involved. If you’re considering becoming a member of Getwell Church, this meeting is also an important first step in that journey. We hope to see you there!

Women’s Ministry Breakfast

Join us for a morning of community and encouragement, plus great breakfast! Please register below so we can plan for food.
The Covenant Class invites you to join in the mission of advancing God’s Kingdom in the world by entering into membership at Getwell Church and taking it seriously through:
- individual submission to Scripture
- responsibility for one’s own spiritual growth
- commitment to prayer
- participation in the mission of the church
- financial giving
- personal ministry to others
- following of the Holy Spirit
Pastors will lead the Covenant Class to explain the covenant’s content and requirements to be met before signing it. Participants will take information home in order to pray over the decision to enter into the covenant.
