Wild Game Dinner

Do you hunt? Do you love the outdoors? Come share your outdoor bounty with other brothers who share your passion for the outdoors. Bring a Wild Game dish to share and get 3 free door prize tickets just for sharing. This event is for men and boys of all ages whether you hunt or not! Greg Hood, the founder of Hoodwinked Game Calls, will be our speaker for the evening. A portion of proceeds will go to support Getwell's 2025 missionaries. Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey—it’s a shared pursuit of becoming more like Him. That’s the heart behind our Small Groups. Beginning the week of February 16, we’re launching two men’s Small Groups. They will meet for three weeks, take a break for Spring Break (the week of March 9), and then continue for the following three weeks. We’d love for you to be part of one of these groups! 

Join a group of men for a six-week study on the book of James, led by Trey Estes. The meeting schedule will be set based on the availability of those who sign up. 

This Small Group will go through The Death of Porn by Ray Ortlund over six weeks. The meeting schedule will be determined based on the availability of those who sign up. 

Each Thursday morning during the school year, a multi-generational group of men gather at the Getwell Southaven campus for a delicious breakfast (seriously... it's worth waking up early for), fellowship and speakers who encourage attendees with scripture and stories of their individual journeys to Christ - and all before the work day begins! SONrise begins with breakfast starting at 6AM (coffee ready at 5:30AM) and ends around 7AM, with plenty of time to get to work. It's a fun, relaxed environment with the great benefit of spending time with other Christ-minded men. Join us in the worship room/fellowship hall area bright and early!

REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE:

During the school year (August - May), SONrise meets weekly at 6AM starting with breakfast in the kitchen/FLC. Following breakfast, men gather to hear a message, testimony, or ministry update from a special speaker.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

Men can be as involved as they like or their schedule allows! There are opportunities to join a breakfast cooking team, sign up for serving projects, help with setup/takedown, or join in corporate prayer. DUES: The regular SONrise season is split into quarters, and there are suggested quarterly dues of $50 (after you have attended several meetings, of course).
